Foodshed Investors supports local "good food" ecosystems by playing in the intersection of food, finance, and social good. We convene, connect, invest, and build.

​Just as we make conscious decisions as consumers to support green, organic, and local vendors, so we can make similar decisions as investors.

Mission

Increase the Supply of Good Local Food

  • ​enable mission-driven, for- and non-profit entrepreneurs in creating healthy, nutritious, and accessible food;
  • build robust regional food systems, particularly for the benefit of underserved communities;
  • re-invigorate rural economies via sustainable agriculture and quality jobs;
  • make progress toward stable climate, healthy soil, and humanely treated animals.​​

Vision

Our Vision is to build a nationwide network of locally-focused "Foodshed Investors" who collaborate and share deal flow pipeline to strengthen all of our communities' access to good local food.

"Foodshed Investors" is a d/b/a of Local Impact Investors LLC. We are a for-profit Texas LLC headquartered in Austin.
