​AUSTIN, Texas (February 16, 2015) – Slow Money Austin announced a partnership with the Kiva Microfinance pilot program, Kiva Zip.  Slow Money has been chosen to serve as a trustee; the organization will endorse sustainable food entrepreneurs located in the Austin Food Shed, and in return, Kiva Zip will offer the entrepreneurs 0% interest loans to fund their businesses. These loans range from $1,000 to $10,000 depending on the industry, and the entrepreneurs fundraising on Kiva Zip will have access to capital from all over the world.
