FINRA is the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. They are not-for-profit organizations authorized by Congress to protect America’s investors by regulating Funding Portals... One of the ways they do that is by authorizing Funding Portals to operate legally, and regulating those portals. There are dozens of these portals. Some focus on real estate, some on high tech, some on restaurants, and some on specific groups of either entrepreneurs or investors. Some are well funded and established, some are barely hanging on.
