Impact Investing in Sustainable Food and Ag Entrepreneurs Nationwide

Impact Investing for Everyone

Foodshed Investors is a national network of individuals, investment groups & clubs, family offices, foundations and other investors that choose to deploy return-seeking capital in support of a food system designed to restore and protect agricultural land, mitigate climate change, and promote social justice for all stakeholders in the supply chain.

FI Investors get to see deals from quality companies in the sustainable food industry; to meet and interact and maybe personally assist cool entrepreneurs; to take advantage of each others' expertise in evaluating deals (sometimes called "due diligence"); to learn how to become an investor, and how to become a good one; to diversify their investment portfolios across geographies and asset classes; to interact socially with like-minded, values-based people; and to support and promote local economies and local jobs.

Because there are different SEC rules for "Accredited" and non-Accredited investors, we have two complementary Investor Networks: one for people that are Accredited and one for Everyone else.
